New Work Delivered Today to High Country Art in Blue Ridge GA

“The imagination is a palette of bright colors. You can use it to touch up memories – or you can use it to paint dreams.” –Robert Brault

I dropped these pieces off at High Country Art (Blue Ridge, GA) today.  The weather in the north Georgia mountains is finally starting to feel ‘fall-like.’ And Blue Ridge has a wonderful (juried) arts festival the weekend of October 8 & 9 – Arts In The Park. If you live anywhere close, I suggest coming to the mountains for this festival. Ellijay is about 30 minutes from Blue Ridge and is in the midst of their fall apple festival – with apple picking at the orchards, hay rides, pumpkin patches and corn mazes. Lots of family fun. There are also 6/7 or more vineyards in the area that have live music on the weekends – plus great wines and long range views of the fall leaves. It’s a fun time to be in the mountains! Come visit North Georgia!

These pieces have sold this past month — thank you! thank you! thank you!

About Judy Shreve

Blogging for me is like keeping a journal which I have done in various forms since I can remember. But what's great about this format is it offers an opportunity to explore all the things that interest me as an artist with others. Blogging seems to strengthen that sense of being part of both something personal and something universal. It takes the journaling idea and expands it through visitor's comments creating a valuable dialog that connects us to each other no matter where we live. I enjoy responding to each comment and warmly welcome your visits. email: judyshreve at mac dot com
