Thank You Spotlight On Art!

“When you are describing a shape or a sound or a tint, don’t state the matter plainly, but put it in a hint and learn to look at all things with a sort of mental squint.” -Lewis Carroll

I am thrilled that some of my paintings sold at the Spotlight on Art Show. In fact one piece sold before it even got hung. No matter how many paintings I have sold in my life, each time one sells I remember that someone actually paid money to buy a piece to live with and look at every day. It makes me over the moon with happiness that I get to share a piece of who I am with someone – a connection – a friendship. Thank you for that.

So these are the pieces that sold —

“If you feel something calling you to dance or write or paint or sing, please refuse to worry about whether you’re good enough. Just do it. Be generous. Offer a gift to the world no one else can offer — yourself!” -Glennon Doyle Melton

About Judy Shreve

Blogging for me is like keeping a journal which I have done in various forms since I can remember. But what’s great about this format is it offers an opportunity to explore all the things that interest me as an artist with others.

Blogging seems to strengthen that sense of being part of both something personal and something universal. It takes the journaling idea and expands it through visitor’s comments creating a valuable dialog that connects us to each other no matter where we live.

I enjoy responding to each comment and warmly welcome your visits.
