High Country Art updated their webpage and now they are working on the ability to sell directly from their website. So if you see a piece you are interested in, you can call to inquire about it, but soon you can actually purchase the piece online.

In other news, I sold all my pottery equipment this weekend – kiln, slab roller, extruder and lots of other studio supplies. I sold my wheel a few years ago. I’m excited that someone else can carry on making things, but I’m a little sad to leave it all behind. The last time I touched clay was 2010 when I discovered paints. We moved to the mountains in 2012 – hauling all that pottery equipment and it has been in the garage for almost 6 years, untouched. It’s past time to recognize I’m not going to work with clay anymore.

Coming up next is Spotlight on Art  – January 29-February 3, 2018 at Trinity School in Atlanta. I will post images of the fifteen pieces headed to this show next week.

About Judy Shreve

Blogging for me is like keeping a journal which I have done in various forms since I can remember. But what's great about this format is it offers an opportunity to explore all the things that interest me as an artist with others. Blogging seems to strengthen that sense of being part of both something personal and something universal. It takes the journaling idea and expands it through visitor's comments creating a valuable dialog that connects us to each other no matter where we live. I enjoy responding to each comment and warmly welcome your visits. email: judyshreve at mac dot com
